"Imerys achieved its guidance and slightly increased its net income from current operations in 2013 whilst, at the same time, grew its operating margin in an economic environment still marked by major disparities, but which gradually stabilized in Europe.

With greater resources at its disposal due to sustained cash flow generation and refinancing ahead of time, the Group continues to demonstrate its capacity to adapt and to invest in long-term growth.

The coming months will see the launch of several units that will contribute to the Group's market diversification and geographical expansion. Imerys is beginning 2014 with renewed confidence in its economic model and in its potential for development."
