The Position
Logistics Project CoordinatorJob Summary
Role
Responsibilities
•Manage the analysis, design and development of optimized logistics plans to achieve costs savings and/or service improvements in collaboration with the Logistic Purchasing teams (through Quimeo)
•Identify customer expectations per market segment in collaboration with market sales
•Undertake logistics optimization projects to identify improvements in logistics efficiency and service to customer
•Prepare presentations of projects findings
•Work with operations and logistics to ensure optimized plans produced are executable
•Lead the implementation of optimized plans and coordinate with other departments
•Maintain logistics optimization expertise and stay up-to-date with available tools and techniques
Accountability
•Logistic costs saving plans implementation
•Logistics plan implementation & update
•Logistics service level monitoring & improvement
Competencies and experience
Key competencies
•Strong understanding of logistics processes and operations
•Analytical reasoning skills
•Data analysis tools proficiency
•Communication skills including solid writing and presentation abilities
•Ability to work with teams
Ideal background/ experience
•Bachelor or Master degree in supply chain
•Fluent in English
•Minimum 4-5 years experience in logistics, a first experience in project management is required
