The PositionEHS Manager Hub South East Europe
Leads in his/her hub, EHS activities to reach zero accidents & improve environmental performance, in line with Imerys group and industry policies
Alongside the Hub Director, responsible for Environment, Health, Safety practices and results across the hub sites and teams
Ensures H&S best-in-class industrial standards are achieved in the framework of Imerys Safety System. Leads H&S systems at hub level and supports H&S managers on site
Promotes a strong Safety culture across the hub.
Ensures industrial and mining operations of the hub are run in compliance with local environmental regulations, best-in class industry practices and Imerys guidelines
Prioritizes EHS programs and corrective action plans implementation
In case of any accident / incident, conducts investigation and root cause analysis to define in collaboration with the site managers and local EHS managers the corrective action plans
Collaborates with Hub Operation managers, Site managers and on-site EHS managers to transfer best practices quickly
Performs Environment, H&S site gap analysis with Imerys guidelines and local regulatory EHS standards
Shares good practices across the hub
Key interfaces: ensures tight coordination with Hub Manager, BA EHS managers, sites managers and site local EHS contacts.
The Hub EHS manager can be acting as EHS manager of the lead site of the hub.
LTA / NLTA / Total injury rate at hub level
Near misses & Safety culture evolution (maturity matrix) at hub level
Reduction of waste / pollution at hub level
Competencies and experience
Good knowledge of Safety Systems
Well versed in local and industrial EHS regulations
Ability to positively influence teams in a matrix organization
Continuous Improvement mindset
Ability to organize skills - development path
Ideal background/ experience
Engineer or equivalent
Previous experience as EHS Manager in a plant or Production / Maintenance / Process engineer Plant manager
Good level of English (minimum B2)
Bulgarian is a plus
2/3 years experience EHS system implementation and EHS management
