The PositionSales Manager
Job Scope & Dimension:
Develop monthly sales forecasts
Create vertical sales plans for to achieve the sales objective which define by group on an annual basis
Build trusting relationships with key channel partners, end-customers and internal stake-holders.
Work with the marketing department on planning and execution of marketing activities throughout the region or market.
Manage Channel to successfully have the correct level of order intake, inventory, and demand for Distribution activities
Develop marketing strategy, market intelligence and market share together with the marketing team.
Provide visit reports and market trends, and customer feedback via CRM tool.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and training
Geographical Area : Within India.
Specify percentage of domestic travel required : Min 50 %
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Manage and handle customers’ queries, requests/complaints and co-ordinate with the operation team to satisfy customers' needs.
Provide technical support with the help from Technical Support Managers to the customers.
Identifying and seizing business opportunities and developing new accounts.
Accountable for any issues like collection of payment etc.. with respect to customers.
Analyses sales trends/preparation of reports for management/advise on the business
Provide forecasts/budget for markets and territory in charged
Support the Line Manager in planning, developing and implementing sales strategies and activities to meet overall objectives.
Good understanding of this business environment and ability to "connect" market.
Graduate degree from recognized university
Minimum 10 years industrial business sales experience
Understanding and knowing the customers/market related to PRPA especially Polymer Market.
Candidates with experience in the industrial minerals/polymer industry will have an added advantage
Well understanding the plastic and rubber producers in India region will have an added advantage
Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Strong technical knowledge of Polymers is key
Customers management and satisfaction
Demonstrated and proven track record of achievement in industrial sales
A good team player, self-motivated and works through complex problems, and manages conflict.
Good business acumen, independent, self starter and leader.
