The PositionLab In-Charge
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Plans and directs the day to day operations of the lab to shift chemists
Maintain all records of lab.
Ensure on time Testing of all incoming RM, PM before unloading of material
Ensure all intermediate as well as finish good product quality as per specifications
Ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved and service is quick and efficient.
Sound knowledge of mineral testing, practices and procedures
Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
Supervises the safe receipt and storage of material.
Responsible for planning and executing of all the activities in the laboratory.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
Analyze working of shift chemists and check their records
Attend customer complaints.
Train guide shift chemists
Constantly work to improve processes
Make suggestions for productivity improvements
Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.
Communicate and collaborate with other team members specially with production team
Train, guide and evaluate functional & cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience requirements:
B.Sc. from Chemistry having 4 -7 years working experience.
Good knowledge of all mineral related testing methods.
Should be from Mineral processing background
Good working experience in MS-Office
