The Position
Deputy General Manager, Human ResourcesJob Summary
Job Responsibilities:
Plant level coordination for Recruitment of Plant associates and HR initiatives
Plan, develop and implement wage and salary programs to align with business strategy and external competitive concerns in the region for workers and contractual labor
Complete Management of labor relations with support of plant management and Corporate HR including negotiation with worker unions, contractors
Managing employee grievance process and consultation with plants on union issues as needed
Serve as the plant expert on union issues as & when required
Ensure all statutory compliances at plant level wrt the unit in line with regulatory and legal requirements
Plant administration including Security, Canteen, Transportation, Guest House, and other administrative facilities/activities
Payroll Management with respect to employees at plant level
Management of Contractual labor including tracking and controlling attendance, supervising the compliances of contractual labor
Liaison with different government agencies
Drive Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives at plant level
Drive Literacy and Numeracy and Sustainable campaigns at plant level
Employee Database Management
Overall IR activities of all sites
Education and Experience requirements:
Any Graduate with Post Graduation degree in HR
Minimum Experience of 12 years
Must have handled HR operations at plant, Long term and Short term union settlements.

Strong creative mind-set, self-starter, team player, strategic thinker
Ability to interpret basic financial data.
Excellent communication, able to facilitate discussions and prepare presentations
Ability to lead and deal with senior managers across organization
Good management skill-Computer literate with advanced level in MS Excel and Power-point.
