The Position

Calderys - Deputy QPC Manager, THC

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Quality Control of Tap Hole Clay as per HTS guide line

  • Defines, collects and analyzes service and product quality KPIs. Supports corrective action plans definition. Monitors resolution progress

  • Coordinate complaint investigation process within site,production and logistics activities to propose internal corrective actions and answers to be transferred to customers

  • Organize regular reviews of product performance at application site to maintain full coherence between process capability and customer expectation.

  • Keep watch on competitor activity

  • In charge of tap hole clay product development

  • Validate product/article creation/modification in the product data sheet/development report

  • Manage the quality team at the site to promote a culture of continuous improvement while strictly adhering to the Imerys safety standards

  • Ensure cost optimisation & reclaim material use, PDM management

Education & Experience:

B.Tech/M.Tech in Ceramic Engineering with exposure to Iron making process

Minimum experience required 2-3 years
