The Position

Job Summary

Reporting Directly to the Group Consolidation Manager, the successful candidate will be in charge of assisting the Group Consolidation Manager in cooperation with other team members on the validation of quarterly consolidations and the performance of Corporate analyses and projects related to Corporate consolidation

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Quarterly consolidation tasks, including the review of internal operating and capital transactions, the support to Regional Consolidation Teams on technical transactions, the follow-up of accounting topics managed through package rules (i.e. IAS 19, IAS 36, IAS 37 and IFRS 16), the recognition of management entries in cooperation with the Group Controlling Team and the validation of changes in equity and cash flows;
Corporate analyses, including contribution to the production of the half-year and annual financial report
Corporate projects, including the contribution to M&A projects, the preparation of new accounting standards implementation (e.g. financial statements presentation) and the continuous improvement of consolidation production processes and tools

Profile:

4-6 years of experience
Strong consolidation background especially on scope changes (mergers, liquidations, disposals and business combinations),
Interest in IFRS accounting standard,
Fluent English and French
Good presentation skills in order to convey a professional Corporate image,
Strong interpersonal skills to be be able to work quickly with professionals from different backgrounds
