The PositionMechanical Fitter - Cross-skilled
Mechanical Fitter - cross-skilled UK Industrial Hub, Operations, Par European Milling Centre,
Salary up to £32,656 per annum depending on skills and experience
Role overview: The purpose of the role is to carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance to process equipment and maintain optimisation of processing plant through efficient fault diagnosis. The position is working a pattern of 12 hour day shifts.
Reports To: Engineering Supervisor
Direct reports: None
Qualifications & Experience
Must have a high level of Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness.
Must have served a recognised indentured mechanical engineering apprenticeship, or equivalent, and be cross skilled to electrical.
Have experience with carrying out maintenance to mechanical and electrical process equipment in a similar industrial environment.
MMA Welding certification/qualification would be an advantage.
Have a full driving licence.
Skills & Person Specification
Good communication and problem solving skills.
Be flexible to work in different areas as required and have the ability to work to demanding and changing priorities.
To be reliable, conscientious, self-motivated and have a willingness to learn.
