The PositionDeputy Product Manager
Support the product manager with the definition, articulation and implementation of a product /mineral strategy (Product Roadmap) to align capacities with organic growth ambition and challenges and optimize profit pool by conducting strategic analysis, leading specific projects, and developing / implementing recommendations
Conduct strategic analyses feeding decision making
Conduct selected strategic analyses and assess product rationalization opportunities to drive profitable growth or optimize profit pool.
Assess profitability of key production circuits and assets and contribute to feed the pipeline of profit optimization actions.
Support projects for the product, in accordance with the product manager, from end to end, relating to product marketing, industrial footprint, M&A, organic growth, etc., in collaboration with the different stakeholders of the Business Area such as markets, operations, supply chain, finance, HR, communication etc..

Source, analyze, challenge information inside and outside our organization, select and provide recommendation
Develop Internal consensus and buy-in on topics
Prepare & present to senior management for decision making
Provide strategic analysis on product management
Lead the implementation of some projects
Support Product knowledge management

Main external stakeholders: Product Manager, Marketing Directors, Operations
Location: Paris or any relevant Imerys plants in France
Competencies & Experience
Strong Project management Skills and self-starter
Strong analytical skills and strategic understanding
Ability to positively influence teams without direct reporting lines
Strategic mind, hands-on, result-oriented, good interpersonal skills
Ability to craft and present compelling Business cases and Analyses supporting key developments.
Fluent in English, any additional language is a plus
Ideal background/ experience
Engineering degree or Business School
4-7 years experience in strategy/marketing/product management, ideally in relevant industry
