The Position

Job Summary

Location : Milos, Cyclades

Reporting to : Production Manager

Managing a team of 28 employees

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for daily operations pertaining to bentonite production, plans, coordinates and collaborates to deliver with zero accidents, on time and within targeted quality and cost objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for Environment, Health & Safety performance and compliance in own perimeter, ensures that work activities are always fully compliant with regulatory and corporate policies.
Manages all aspects of processing in its own area of responsibility to ensure operation at high efficiency and reliability status
Organizes all available resources to implement the production plan and meet production needs, focusing on quality, productivity, energy consumption and cost reduction.
Monitors KPIs for plant performance and reports on a regular basis.
Communicates and collaborates effectively with other functions (Mining, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, etc.), to ensure the necessary (in quantity and quality) raw material to fulfill production plan and proper maintenance of plants equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency the execution of industrial projects and the improvement of processes.
Leads, motivates and develops a team.
Implements Continued Improvement initiatives in coordination with the I-cube Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

MSc Degree in Mining, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
5 years’ experience in Operations (production etc) in the industrial environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, G Suite, etc.)
Experience with SAP HANA is a plus
