The Position
EHS DirectorJob Summary
Reporting directly to the Industrial VP, the main responsibilities of the EHS Director will be:
Alongside BA Industrial VP and Hub Directors, responsible for Environment, Health, Safety practices and results across the BA sites and teams
Ensures H&S best-in-class industrial standards are achieved in the framework of Imerys Safety System. Leads H&S systems of BA operations and H&S managers on site
Promotes a strong Safety culture across the BA
Ensures industrial operations of the BA are run in compliance with local environmental regulations, best-in class industry practices and Imerys guidelines
Prioritizes Environment and H&S programs and corrective action plans implementation
In case of any accident / incident, conducts investigation and root cause analysis and defines in collaboration with the site the corrective action plans
Collaborates with Hub Operation managers, Site managers and on-site E-HS managers to transfer best practices quickly
Performs Environment, H&S site gap analysis with Imerys guidelines and local regulatory E-HS standards
Shares good practices across BAs
Key interfaces: ensures tight coordination with BA Industrial VP, Hub Operation Managers, Imerys Centers of Excellence, BA Segments

Engineer or equivalent

Worked in an international / multicultural scope
>15 years experience in EHS system implementation and EHS management
