JOB SUMMARY
The Industrial Continuous Improvement Engineer will support industrial change management program (ICube Program) across the PM EMEA Business Area. He / she will demonstrate a visible leadership on Safety and People Empowerment/Enablement . He / she will be focused on continuous industrial improvements in order to improve productivity, energy efficiency, reliability, quality and cost of operations with no compromise on safety. He /She will contribute to make her/his perimeter more competitive, safer, more customer oriented and unified. He /She will promote best industrial rituals and operational discipline to deliver sustainable visible changes on the field.
JOB SCOPE
Scope: PM EMEA 75 sites, 1.1bn€ of sales, 3700 employees in 24 countries, divided on 10 operational Hubs.
Direct report: PM EMEA Industrial Continuous Improvement & Quality Manager
Team: Member of COE team (Center Of Excellence) supporting all Business Area industrial operations.
Travels: up to 50% (short and long term missions) – we are looking for someone geographically mobile
Ambitious targets on: Safety, Quality, Cost of sales, Visual Management , Housekeeping, Dust Management, Energy & Process Efficiency, industrial rituals of management.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Continuous Improvement Engineer is a key position of industrial change management deployment and leads the implementation of various best practices.
Promote implementation of industrials basics like : Rituals of Management, 5S, Dust Management.
Insure sustainable Imerys Industrial Improvement program (ICube) roll-out: investigations and interviews, the performance of the plant on each of the targets defined in the Group reference documents.
Together with Hub teams, define key priorities and design an action plan to be put in place.
Implement the action plan and define the work to be done by the different teams on the site.
Make sure goals are set to our highest standards, that processes are in line with benchmark, that results are achieved on time and that actions put in place are sustainable.
Implement, promote and track the Saving Roadmap, OEE and all industrial KPIs and routines used by PM EMEA
Support the definition of sites specific industrial mid-term vision (3YP) in line with all levels of industrial management.

Training about Continuous Improvement tools and processes to colleagues from all departments.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
With Master’s degree in Mechanical, Process, Material or Chemical Engineering
Experience:
More than 5 years seniority, in an industrial environment .
A demonstrated project management experience is requested.
Technical skills:
Solid technical background enabling to quickly understand all aspects of our technical clusters.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certified, highly appreciated.
Knowledge about Statistical Process Control would be a plus.
IT savvy. Advanced proficiency with Google Suite would be a plus.
Language:
Fluent in English is mandatory.
French and other European languages skills are highly appreciated.
