The PMO Coordinator, in addition to directly managing projects, guarantees the widespread use of Imerys project management methodology standards (Waterfall & Agile methodologies; Finance /Risk management). This person will foster project management within the project manager community educating newly onboarded resources, upskilling others. This role is responsible for reshaping & promoting knowledge management within the community from ideation to project go live in close relationship with KM actors from IT Dept. This person helps create and is responsible for the implementation and oversight of group methodologies and practices designed to optimize project visibility, benefits and risks mitigation.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership and guidance on project management topics, training and fostering a project management mindset among IT departments, and participating in drawing action plans in case of potential deviation
Participate in establishing, fine tuning and deploying, technical and methodological guidelines, policies, standards and controls about Project management.
Accompany and monitor operational adaptation of technical and methodological guidelines for Project Management
Manage and report on the Project Management maturity
Manage communication to IT community and key stakeholders
Facilitate monthly or ad-hoc governance, project reviews or team meetings
Support Project Managers to follow projects and risk mitigation
Provide support, training and coaching when needed to project managers embedded into or nominated
Provide regular reporting on current state of project programs
Establish metrics and reporting framework to measure project performance and maturity level
Successful US-based candidates must be fully Covid-19 vaccinated before the employment start date unless exempted by applicable law.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing Agile projects as Scrum Master / Product Owner. (assisting/leading Sprint planning, Daily Stand Ups, Sprint review, Sprint retro)
Minimum 5 years or more of practical experience in project management
Experience in managing multiple, simultaneous and high-profile projects.
Experience in developing project management programs, standards and procedures, including successful implementations in large enterprise environments, preferred
Strong knowledge of Project management methodology. For example, Agile, Waterfall, Project/Program
