The Position

Quality & Tolling Coordinator

Job Summary

POSITION ASSIGNMENT / JOB PURPOSE

 

The RAC (Refractory, Abrasives & Construction Business Area) Quality and Tolling Coordinator guarantees the compliance of our products with customers’ expectations, Imerys internal standards, certifications and regulations, in a setup of Subcontracted Manufacturing - called Tolling.
He / She will notably guarantee the compliance of external industrial subcontractors (Tollers) with Imerys quality management requirements ; he / she will carry out the treatment of customer complaints and drive corrective actions when necessary.

 Finally, he / she will lead several ad-hoc projects relating to Quality and Tolling for the RAC business Area (see description of the projects below).

 

The Quality and Tolling Coordinator will have three main areas of responsibility:

1) Peramin chemical additives

 

Peramin chemical additives are manufactured thanks to tollers and several suppliers.
The Quality & Tolling Coordinator will define and maintain the quality documentation (quality plan, instructions, …) and ensure the correct quality of the supplied products through quality data analysis, follow-up of the toller’s KPIs, organisation of audits…

He / She will also supervise the production planning (S&OP, capacity constraints, possibilities, product development, cost monitoring, …).

 
2) Toll-Manufacturing in Germany

 

The Quality & Tolling Coordinator will support our industrial minerals tolling operations in Germany, managing all its quality aspects (documentation, controls, complaints, …).
 

3) Ad-hoc projects

 

He / she will lead Quality & Tolling-related projects at RAC level, notably including: 

- the integration of new products / new tollers & suppliers in the Quality Management System and the ERP Opera

- the management of the ISO 9001 process for externalised production

- the definition of specifications for RAC business area products

 

 KEY SKILLS

 

Know / Know-How

 - Academic training : Engineering degree, in Chemistry or Material Sciences, ideally completed with a specialisation in Quality Management

 

- Experiences: 8-10 years in Chemical / Manufacturing Industries, Quality control 

 

- Very good knowledge:

French, English, Chemical and Industrial Processes, Quality Management

 

- Good Knowledge:

Mathematics, Organisation of information and data, Google and SAP tools

 

- Basic knowledge:

Logistics

 Capacity to self-organise and navigate in a complex environment, Communicative, Mobilising / Engaging, Drives Improvement
