The Position

Master Data Administrator SAP TM

Job Summary

The SAP TM S4 HANA Master Data Administrator is responsible for converting the transport contracts negotiated by Purchasing into SAP TM S4HANA master data.

With the support of Business Process Owners, he/she finds the right balance between purchasing business agreements and data complexity in SAP TM S4HANA.

In charge of a qualitative maintenance of all  transport data in SAP TM S4HANA module; he/she will also maintain a related detailed documentation  (codification rules, data granularity, etc …). 

When opportunities are detected, he/she will propose data simplification.

The SAP TM S4HANA Administrator can also contribute to the construction of the new SAP TM S4HANA data during deployment of Opera project rollouts.

 

Key tasks & responsibilities :

 

The data to maintain covers following business concepts :

  • transportation network for inbound, outbound and transfer flows

  • transportation costs structure

  • purchasing freight agreements

Transportation data must be maintained in a close relation with business partner data management as the challenge is to prepare data on time before sales or purchases occur.

 

Maintains detailed support documentation explaining business rules,  processes and table contents to facilitate daily administration as well as new deployments.

 

Manually creates and manages the entire data structure :  Locations, Zones, Ports, Hubs, Lanes, Calculation sheets and Freight agreements as well as creation and updates of the Rate tables.

Under management of the SAP TM S4HANA Deployment Leader, be in relation with the deployed organization  in order to collect existing data and convert them into SAP TM S4HANA format while ensuring coherence with global purchasing rules and SAP core model design.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

 

Expected Profile

Leadership skills to manage Master Data Admin position -  Team spirit -  Good communication skills and open to discussions - Good knowledge of transportation stakes - Analytical mindset and rigorous spirit allowing interpretation and transformation of the data collected - Structured approach and keen on understanding details - Affinity with information systems - Occasional travel - Knowledge in SAP TM is a plus.

Experience : Second experience

Languages : Fluent professional English is mandatory
