Imerys Minerals Limited - Logistics Administrator
There is a permanent vacancy for a Logistics Administrator based at Cliffe Vale, reporting to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate will ensure ordered products are delivered effectively and timely to the customer, in order to satisfy their demand.
The purpose of the role will be:
Manage the administration activities for the transport and delivery of product to the customer.
Participate in the production planning process ensuring all relevant parties are aware of customer demand and timescales.
Provide the plant interface for Front Office communications in order to ensure any production or demand issues are effectively managed and coordinated.
Ensure that appointed hauliers are instructed in a timely and efficient manner, in order to ensure delivery of product as detailed in confirmed customer orders.
Support the sites Customer Complaints process as detailed in the Quality Assurance procedure.
Respect all EHS accountabilities as described in the EHS policy, EHS plan, EHS objectives and the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
The Logistics Administrator provides the focal point for all Front Office communications relating to product availability and Production capabilities.
The job holder must be able to multi task in a sometimes demanding environment.
Provide additional support duties to Logistics, Quality and Administration Officer in the areas of purchasing and quality
Primary coordinator of office incoming telephone call management and coordination of site visitors
To deal with all bulk vessel and container shipments for customers by liaising through Sales managers from generation to maintenance of all sales quotations and customer orders to meet with customers' requests and production demands.
Compile all relevant aspects of documentation and continuous monitoring for movements of sea containers and vessels to a worldwide market
