The Position

I-Cube Manager

Job Summary

Part of the Imerys Group, the world leader in mineral-based specialties for industry, Imerys Graphite & Carbon is headquartered in Switzerland with commercial offices and production sites around the globe.

For our Industrial Improvement program we are looking for a


based in our headquarter in Bironico, Switzerland.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Follow up current I-Cube deployments on various sites and supports new I-Cube deployments

  • Actively participate in animation groups (with expert communities, champions, etc)

  • Provide local assistance when required (maintenance, process optimization, etc)

  • Build and implement OPEX initiatives on the shop floor (5S, TPM workshops, SMED or expert analysis)

  • Support OPEX deployment through training and specific workshop on the shop floor

  • Coordinate I-Cube certification program for the I-Cube population in IGC by providing coaching and coordinating learning and development opportunities


  • B. Sc. in Engineering or Equivalent technical degree (university)

  • Certified LSS Green/Black belt

  • Vast knowledge in Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, Industry 4.0

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (and Google suite a +) and strong skills in learning new IT tools.

  • Fluent in English (any other languages appreciated)

  • Proven ability to work in a global matrix organization

  • Proven track record of working with Senior & non-Senior Management.

  • Project management skills, organized, time conscious, result oriented, etc 

  • Analytical/synthesis skills, structured, able to “connect the dots” 

  • Influencer, communicator, strong advocate of CI

  • Autonomous, creative, rigorous

  • Team player, ability to work in multi-cultural and geographical environment

  • Influencer and great communicator

  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
