The Position

Sales Account Manager

Job Summary

Imerys, global leader in industrial minerals, is hiring a Sales Account Manager (based at your home office, midwest region or Roswell, GA preferred) to develop, drive and lead the relationship, strategy and growth plan for the paints and coatings, adhesives, caulks and sealants markets.  You will also develop and nurture in depth relationships across critical functions within the customer’s organization that helps establish win-win relationships.  


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for nurturing long-term Imerys relationships with customers, sustaining customer intimacy and understanding customer needs and expectations

  • Responsible for planning, directing and controlling all sales activities in the market

  • Leads Sales and Technical Support for the geography/ segment

  • Work closely with the Sales Director develop existing market and identify and capture new market opportunities

  • Provide accurate input to the Sales Planning function to manage the forecast 

  • Responsible for developing Imerys business in markets (new customers, new geographies)

  • Ensures tight coordination with Industry, Marketing, S&T and is supported by Business Analyst

  • Responsible for embodying One Imerys Approach, specifically collaboration with other BAs for common customers and markets

  • Drives transformation and implements new organization and ways of working for his/her perimeter


 Education/Experience Requirements:

  • 8 years Minimum experience in Sales, Account Management or Business Development.

  • Strong technical background helpful.

  • Successful US-based candidates must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 before the employment start date unless exempted by applicable law.

  • Bachelor Degree Required, Engineering degree preferred
