The PositionRepresentative - Cust Service I
Professionally collaborate as part of a team to achieve company goals while providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
Maintain knowledge of all products and services as well as recent updates.
Order entry and management: customer account set-up, entering of customer orders, generation of pricing, logistics and invoicing.
Generate, interpret and act on reports relating to customer performance (open orders, on-time shipping, invoicing).
Liaise with Plant Buyer on replenishment of purchased items.
Work closely with Sales, Operations and Credit teams in order to coordinate appropriate actions to meet customer expectations
Work closely with the finance team in closing out each month
Work closely with the Project Coordinator to make sure all billing has been completed for month end closing and assist with invoicing when needed
Maintain knowledge of our SAP platform
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Educational / Skill Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; required.
2 or 4 year College Degree; preferred.
1-3 years’ experience as a Customer Service Representative for a manufacturer, distribution or fulfillment company; required.
Previous use of ERP systems (ie: SAP, Oracle, MS AX Dynamics); preferred.
Proficiency with G Suite Products.
Experience working with import / export forwarders
Experience working with remote distribution centers
Demonstrate ability to learn technical information quickly
Inside sales experience
Logistics background or exposure.
Knowledgeable on order flow and shipping procedures.
Strong mathematical skills.
Pleasant phone presence.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; detailed and deadline oriented.
Excellent follow-up and follow through.
