The Position
Group Compensation SpecialistJob Summary
Role overview: A specialist responsible for implementing, analyzing and adapting Compensation programs to meet identified organization objectives and needs at Group, Business or Country level for specific topics.
Reports To: Global Compensation Director - Group
Direct reports: n/a
Responsibilities and Duties:
Administer, direct, and review Imerys Long Term Incentive program, and interact with the corresponding providers (banking partner, legal/tax advisors),
Participate in the design, implementation, maintenance of the Group compensation Policy,
Participate in the development & maintenance of the Imerys Job Catalog,
Advise managers and HR partners on the salary treatment of employees,
Ensure efficient and effective implementation of HR processes within the Group HRIS system, as a Member of the Group Compensation & HRIS team
Coordinate and deploy annual salary and bonus reviews throughout the company,
Analyze and monitor costs and competitive market trends in relation to Imerys Compensation programs,
Participate in the preparation, data collection and execution of compensation surveys, and interact with the corresponding providers,
Prepare employee communication and training materials.
Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of experience in Compensation
Mastering Job evaluation/ grading – Long Term Incentive Schemes would be an asset
Proficient in English Language. Mastering another European language would be an asset
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint (both in Google and Microsoft suite) and in information systems
Skills & Person Specification
Analytical and synthesis skills, detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing among different cultures
Appetite for dealing with different topics and projects in parallel with planning and organization skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
Ability to transfer knowledge to the HR community
Strong customer service orientation, ability to work collaboratively and interface with all levels within the organization
Continuous improvement mindset against the type and quality of services of the Compensation Team
Ability to efficiently work with HRs located in multiple time zones
