The Position

Forklift Operator-2

Job Summary

To ensure that forklift are maintain in a manner that it is safe and reliable at all times. To reduce the unnecessary motion waste for the forklift handling during the packing process and also for diesel saving for long run. Care to be taken when carrying out the responsibilities so as not to damage.
 

•  Safety of machinery - Conduct the specific checks on the machine according to schedule.
• Care of products - Ensure that all care is taken when transporting the materials from one location to another.
• Quantity - Target 20% total packing tonnage set are to be achieve when machinery is running efficiently.
• Maintenance of machinery - Ensure that all parts of the machine is so that housekeeping and safety is met.
• Safety - To assure drive safe according to the imerys Safety regulations.
• Housekeeping - To manage the 5 S' concept for the packing line.
• To communicate safety alerts, lesson learned and incident sharing on time to department
• To accountable on self / peers / contractors safety
• To intervene any unsafe behavior at site
• To conduct peer to peer safety observation
   

Job Requirement:

• Primary Education & able to operate forklift
