Performance Minerals EMEA – UK Industrial Hub

Secondary Processing - Lee Moor Herreschoff 

Operative 

A vacancy exists for an Operative at Lee Moor Herreschoff operations.  The position will be working 74 shift.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a variety of production duties within the plant in accordance with Company EHS policies and management instructions. The successful candidate should hold or be willing to undertake training to include manual handling and chemical handling competence.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • High level of health, safety and environmental knowledge and awareness including COSHH.

  • Flexible approach to work, be a real team player and have the ability to work to demanding and changing priorities.

  • Attention to detail - the performance of this role is critical to product quality/customer service.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good problem solving and initiative skills.

  • Holding a Fork Lift Truck licence 

  • Experience with the use of racking would be an advantage.

  • Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills to meet the requirements of the role.

  • Demonstrate a willingness to undertake further training.

  • Have a full driving licence.
