The Position

Regional Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Summary

This role has to coordinates Supply Chain & Logistics related projects within the region in order to improve the efficiency of the supply chain and logistics functions. 

  • Responsible for a variety of logistics related project and program as assigned, example of project / program includes standardization of data management, ERP system audit, ERP business user training, reporting system, compliant assessment on warehousing and logistics activities on safety and internal control, logistics service provider assessment, development of simple tools to improve BP & SC efficiency eg API with ERPs, google suites (sheets/words etc) etc.

  • Writing project charter, milestone schedules and budgeting where applicable

  • Closely follow up project completion on time, within budget and meeting project charter

  • Prompt follow through issues, proactively communicate / escalates to superior and revert  solutions / responds to issue initiator

  • Maintain neat, orderly and complete document and project files in Google Drive

  • Timely report on projects progress

  • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with stakeholders of each project

  • Organize logistics and manage preparations for project related meetings and conference

  • Support regional M&A / Greenfield / brownfield projects for supply chain

Education: 

  • Minimum Diploma in I.T./Logistics/Supply Chain/Project/Business/ Other Discipline

Experience: 

  • 3+ years of project coordination / I.T / administration background

  • Data management and tools related to data management includes Web based reporting system with strength in Excel,  Power Point, Google Suites with Google development skills

  • Project management

  • Familiar with passionate about sustainability, compliance and auditing 

  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and time management skills

  • Others: strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, ability to propose solutions

  • Advocate for data integrity

Languages:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, conversing in other language ie Chinese and/or Japanese is an added advantage
