The Foundry Sales Account Manager will lead and coordinate sales and customer activities related to foundry to ensure a strong business development in Sweden and Norway.

In this role you can work from any of our offices in Mariestad, Norrköping, Göteborg or Åmål. The main Foundry office is located in Mariestad. In this role however, you will be travelling approximately 60-75% of the time.



You are responsible for profit and loss for your market area in your perimeters, working via your regional sales organisation. You are a member of the High Temperature Solutions (HTS) Segment Foundry.

Working closely with the Foundry Sales Director and the Foundry Technical Support Manager, your main responsibilities are the following:

  • Follow up of the given revenues and target specifications according to budget; responsibility of the budget for the defined area

  • Extensive customer management referring to commercial and technical details with existing and new clients

  • Extension of already existing business relationship; development of new and expanded product and market potentials

  • Leading of price negotiations

  • Close cooperation with technical department and development through the supply- and implementation phase

  • Observation and analysis of market trends and customer needs referring to given product portfolio

  • Creating of a monthly sales report and documentation of the data in CRM system

  • Offer sales of materials, installations and services within their own area of responsibility within established routines and certification.

  • Be responsible for the sale of the company's services, such as projects, new installations and service and repairs, within your geographical area of responsibility as well as other established customers.

  • Responsible for delivering a budget and follow-up on the budget.

  • Reporting the KPI according to the company policy.




The following attributes are valuable in the role:

  • University degree in metallurgy/inorganic chemistry or equivalent experience from the foundry business

  • Possessing substantial knowledge of the refractory market in the relevant segment, with a proven track record of delivering results.

  • Leadership skills

  • Negotiation skills

  • Sales Planning and admin skills

  • Very good knowledge in Excel and other admin programs eg. Salesforce

  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English, written and orally

  • Experience in the execution of projects in plant engineering with focus on Ferrous Foundries as well as Non ferrous foundries
