The Position

Job Summary

Part of the Business Area Performance Mineral EMEA (3500 employees, 80 plants, 25 countries & 1,2 Bn€ Revenue), which is under the SAP 4 Hana deployment, the SAP Continuous Improvement Manager for the Logistics stream:

Is Part of the Business Planning & Supply Chain teams of the Business Area, in the Logistics Continuous Improvement team which focuses on improvement projects for Logistics
Is The point of contact of the business area for the SAP support both the sites already deployed or under SAP deployment.
The SAP Continuous Improvement Manager works hands in hands with the Corporate project team for SAP deployment and the main stakeholders of the Business Area.
Referent in his/her field of expertise, this position ensures also the training sessions beyond the training provided by Corporate project team for SAP deployment and ensures in a permanent manner the knowledge transfer between the SAP users

Responsibilities

As a referent in the Business Area Performance Minerals EMEA, makes sure that all the processes / functionalities / data are well available in SAP to ensure a smooth business continuity (Transport Management scope)
Is involved in the preparation of the new waves for the SAP deployment but not as a key users but as a overall coordinator to ensure the standardization of the ways of working with the former waves
Support the users in the former waves to be sure that the knowledge is well anchored and ensure additional support.
In charge of making sure that all the SAP users in the Business Area are well trained and apply the SAP good practices (newcomers included)
Ensures knowledge sharing across the Business Area by facilitating regular webinars / good practices sharing events
Point of contact for each new SAP evolution : coordinate with Corporate project team the specification requirements description, tests the development and train the users.
Proposes improvements in SAP to ease the life of the users and therefore interacts with the other teams in charge of automation (Robotic Process Automation, Cost Controlling teams…) and then coordinates the implementation
Works closely with the SAP Customer Service Coordinator for the Order to Cash to build a robust end to end system
Designs reporting tools on the efficiency of the Transport Management flows and update / share them.
Leads continuous improvement projects to improve overall efficiency
Interacts beyond the Performance Minerals EMEA perimeter with the other Group Business Areas to benchmark and identify new solutions

Fluidity of SAP Transport Management module: both roll out and daily use
SAP Transport Management module knowledge sharing and proper usage

Competencies & Experience

Key competencies

SAP Transport Management module knowledge
Good understanding of a logistics organisation
Strong IT capabilities (Experience with SAP 4 Hana, knowledge of Google suite a plus)
Former experience in a logistics field
Problem solver & facilitator
Very good communication skills with ability to address a topic at different hierarchical levels
At ease in a matrix environment with cross functional interactions
Autonomous, comfortable with remote management
Rigorous
Capacity to drive change and facilitate change management
Pedagogic
Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
Ability to go beyond his/her field of expertise

Ideal background/ experience

Bachelor with logistics / IT specialization or Masters degree in Supply chain with Data management specialty or Information Systems or equivalent work experience
Previous experience in project management
Former experience in training facilitation is a plus
