We have an exciting new role available, created to provide engineering and technical support to the Site Engineering and Production Teams as well as leading projects including new installations. This role reports to the Site Engineer and is responsible for leading the team of 5 Cross Skilled Engineers.

The role is on a day shift with compensated call outs expected as required (on a shared rotation basis).
What are we looking for?
Ability to demonstrate and implement practicable solutions to Engineering & Process issues.
Innovative thinking with consideration given to all opportunities to improve any aspects of the operation.
Efficient problem solving, in order to continuously improve both maintenance and production efficiency.
Knowledge of electrical, ICA, mechanical engineering with a working knowledge of the other disciplines.
Demonstrated ability to get in depth understanding of processes, to optimise best equipment settings and maintain the process plant to achieve required quality standards.
Full driving license
Fork Lift Truck license would be an advantage
In return we ask for:
HNC Engineering qualification or equivalent, or be progressing towards this, with a proven experience in plant engineering / process, supervising engineering maintenance teams
Relevant and demonstrated management experience in a production environment. Including a relevant and current CPD
A proven experience of promoting and adhering to safe working principles and to hold or be willing to undertake further training in this area, e.g. SHE Diploma Level 4, IOSH/ NEBOSH managing safely
Knowledge of contributing to budgets, managing costs on a regular basis and preparing proposals for Capital Expenditure
High degree of IT literacy
