Mission
Leads all the BA Health and Safety (H&S) activities to reach Zero accidents, all activities aiming at improving BA Environmental performance in line with BA and Group industry policies, to enhance customer satisfaction and improve process efficiency.
Responsibilities
She/he will
Alongside BA EHS Director and Hub Directors, be responsible for Environment, Health, Safety practices and results
Ensures H&S best-in-class industrial standards are achieved in the framework of Imerys Safety System.
Ensures industrial operations are run in compliance with local environmental regulations, best-in class industry practices and Imerys guidelines
Implement Environment and H&S programs and corrective action plans
In case of any accident / incident, conducts investigation and root cause analysis and defines in collaboration with the site the corrective action plans
Collaborates with Hub Operation managers, Site managers, EHS managers from Region to transfer best practices quickly
Performs Environment, H&S site gap analysis with Imerys guidelines and local regulatory EHS standards
Key interfaces: ensures tight coordination with Hub Operation Managers and EHS teams - build relationships across the Region to ensure compliance and promote a proactive environment, and health & safety culture - Contribute to H&S systems updates and functionally manage H&S community,
You will serve as an influential member of the different leadership teams, who impact decision making and take an active role in promoting cross-site initiatives, team work and collaboration across site functions.
Reporting systems: Review monthly all informations reported , ensuring correct recording, assigned responsibilities, deadlines, and proper event closing, develop, measure, analyze and communicate EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics. Build EHS performance reports .

Profile/Competencies
Education and professional background
Engineer or equivalent
English mandatory
Worked in an international / multicultural scope
>10 years experience in EHS system implementation and EHS management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Ability to travel up to 40% of his/her time
Key competencies
Strong capacity to lead the change and impact behaviors
Capacity to understand what’s trigger behaviors depending on typology of people
Well versed in local and industrial EHS regulations
Ability to positively influence teams in a matrix organization
