The Position
Quality Control SupervisorJob Summary
No budgetary responsibility.
Indirectly supervise production crews in daily sampling and testing of materials produced at the plant. This position does not have the ability to hire or fire but can make recommendations concerning these activities. Currently about two hours a day is spent working with production to ensure process stability.
- Maintains quality records. (30%)
- Performs special testing for certificates of analysis. (40%)
- Handles customer complaints. (> 1%)
- Performs computer entry of production samples. (15%)
- Provides training. (5%)
- Coordinates physical storage and maintenance of samples. (10%)
- Conducts statistical analysis of samples - retrieves, runs and inputs samples.
- Develops a culture concerned with quality.
- Performs other duties as required.
- All processes connected to pharmaceutical production.
- Maintains documents in document control database
- Housekeeping, must help in the plant cleaning proses
Education :
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with quality systems desirable.
- Experience with ISO 9001
- Knowledge of cGMP’s
- Experience with LIMS systems
- Adept with Google Suite
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Attributes:
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Able to understand manufacturing processes.
- Trained to find root causes of problems
- Decisive in recommending and implementing steps to correct situations that
may arise.
- Knowledge or experience working with ISO quality systems.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must have excellent record keeping and organizational skills.
- Must work well with others internally, and be able to work with customers in
handling any issues that may arise.
- Must be able to input data into digital databases to perform analysis on plant
product and processes.
