The Position

Job Summary

Role :

Business Partner to Industrial Hub Director and management team. Runs appropriate Operational and Financial controls to support industrial activities and serve business objectives.

Scope :

Reporting to PM EMEA Industrial Controlling Director
10 sites covered
Localisation . France (Paris or Lorient)

Responsabilities :

Business partnering activities

Analyze Hub costs to identify risks and performance improvement opportunities

Variable Costs such as energy, chemicals, packaging…
Fixed Costs such as labor, maintenance….

Controlling Activities

Responsible of the Financial Budgets and Forecasts of the hub
Lead and manage the monthly reporting and analysis of all operating costs at hub level
Validate Operations and Purchasing key indicators: CAPEX, Stocks, Savings…
Review capital expenditure requests
Control financial impact of mining plan (Reserves & Overburden assets, Depletion, UoP)
Responsible for standard cost set-up and follow-up
Monitor and propose performance improvement on OWC-related items: Stocks, Accounts Payables

Accountability

Assess, monitor and control risks within the relevant hub area

Provide accurate, timely and appropriate data to support the effective monitoring of the Industrial and commercial activities

Ensure compliance of business operations with company policies and best practices.

Strong attention to detail, operations acumen and continuous improvement mindset
Ability to drive pragmatically standard and efficient cross-functional processes
Strong team player
Excellent communications skills.
Knowledge of SAP, Magnitude and advanced Excel/Google sheet skills
Fluency in English is a plus

Ideal background/ experience

A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with financial/accounting experience is preferred.
Previous experience working within the mining industry preferred
