The Position
Assistant Human Resource ManagerJob Summary
Job Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing:
Implement comprehensive Talent sourcing plans basis the Business plans, anticipated exits and talent pipeline creation plans
Support in sourcing of manpower (Campus Interviews/Lateral hiring)
Induction & On-boarding
Ensure smooth on-boarding of the newly joined employee wrt. to providing necessary resources
Plan & Execute comprehensive Induction to Imerys India i.e. Jumpstart
Support efficient & seamless deployment of engagement process enabling enhanced employee experience from sourcing to on-boarding
HR Business Partnering
Support the business, execute end to end delivery of services, solutions & interventions across all HR processes
Coordinate & execute the interventions in line with the plan
Implement Employee engagement process enabling enhanced employee experience across the Employee Life Cycle
Provide advice & support to line managers on decisions pertaining to people matters and ensure high levels of ownership on talent engagement, retention & development agenda
Plant level coordination for Recruitment along with Talent acquisition team
Coordinate, execute & provide support for various learning & development interventions
Manage / maintain requisite training records
Industrial Relations
Plan, develop and implement wage and salary programs to align with business strategy and external competitive concerns in the region for workers and contractual labour
Complete Management of labour relations with support of plant management and Corporate HR including negotiation with worker unions, contractors
Ensure seamless bi-partite wage settlement
Ensure zero man-days loss on account of IR issues
Managing employee grievance process and consultation with plants on union issues as needed
Serve as the plant expert on union issues as & when required
Payroll & Benefits Management
Payroll Management with respect to employees at plant level including all statutory compliances for site (Bhadrachalam, Balasore, Bigwan, Silvassa & Amritsar) employees
Ensure administration of Employee benefits including management of Employee related insurance schemes for site employees
Statutory Compliance
Ensure all statutory compliances at plant level wrt the unit in line with regulatory and legal requirements
Management of Contractual labour & third party employees including tracking and controlling attendance, supervising the compliances of contractual labour & third party employees
Liaison with different government agencies
Employee Database Management at plant level including management of personnel files
Keep close watch on HR and administration related law changes and react to them actively
Ensure HR & Admin contracts are in place & timely renewed
Safety
Ensure implementation of relevant processes & Systems wrt to Serious 7 & Take 5
Create assimilation of Safety culture throughout the hierarchy of the organization
Work towards vision of zero harm at respective location
Others
Drive Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives at plant level in line with Corporate strategy
Periodically share metrics wrt HR Operations, training etc in line with set objectives wrt process efficiency, effectiveness and cost/budget for site
Education and Experience requirements:
MBA/PGD in Human Resources; MPM&IR, MSW, MLS
4 - 6 yrs of experience (Preferably in Manufacturing sector)
Good at multi-tasking & stakeholder management with ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demand
Knowledge of Compensation & related tax laws
