The Position
S&T Project ManagerJob Summary
Project Manager - Innovation
Full time – Monday to Friday
Salary £32,000 - £35,000 per annum

This role is based at Imerys’ Par Moor Centre in Cornwall, UK however can also operate from our offices in Toulouse or Paris, France.
Role purpose
Project management of key Innovation projects for our Science & Technology community your focus will be managing the scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and any issues of the projects throughout their
lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Project and Data Manager for Innovation, utilising Accolade and a variety of information systems you’ll be keeping track of and driving project progress, managing the stage gate process and ensuring projects are delivered according to agreed KPIs, SLAs, and quality standards.
You’ll be monitoring and administrating project progress, making timely interventions to drive down project risk, providing progress reports and status updates to various groups of stakeholders, organising and chairing meetings, including creating and delivering progress presentations to key stakeholders and
influencing internal and external resources.
You’ll also be involved with adhoc projects such as such as LIMS software proposals and integration; researching systems that meet the needs of the Innovation team, dealing with the suppliers, being part of the reviewing process and attending the demos, meetings and customer interviews.
About you
Project management experience and expertise in using project management methodologies and tools is essential
A scientific background, ideally at degree level, and an understanding of lab work and innovation processes
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to understand IT / Systems related constraints and capabilities
Strong collaboration and influencing skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary and remote teams, building successful relationships at all levels
