The Position

Legal Counsel

Job Summary

Rolel overview : Support the business development and act as a strategic legal partner.

Responsabilities and duties : Reporting to the General Counsel and evolving in an international and dynamic environment (EMEA, APAC and North America), the Senior Legal Counsel's missions will be:

- drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts such as: sales, OPEX/CAPEX/services purchases, agency, distribution, transportation and S&T,

- advising and partnering with internal clients on various legal matters related to mining, commercial and industrial projects,

- providing advice in relation with claims, pre-litigation and litigation and managing legal actions with external lawyers,

- providing legal support to merger and acquisitions operations,

- managing company secretarial work (annual general assemblies, D&O appointments, delegations of authority/POAs), and

- developing, applying and rolling out the Group’s compliance policies.
