The Position
Account Manager Tiles - Ceramics EMEAJob Summary
Role
Management of the Sales process at the allocated accounts
Development of the business (volumes, revenue) with the allocated accounts
Ensure the best possible customer experience is delivered across the functions to the allocated accounts
Responsibilities:
Detect and develop sales opportunities through regular contacts and visits to the customers in his/her scope.
Management of the opportunity pipeline in a way to ensure the highest possible conversion rate. Ensure an accurate reporting of the process in the CRM.
Apply pricing strategy, in line with product positioning and pricing targets provided by the Area Sales Manager and SD
Meet customers and organize specific surveys in order to provide business intelligence on available capacities, competitor footprints and development projects
Work with the other departments (Logistics, CS, S&OP, Technical Support) in order to ensure customer satisfaction, best possible services as well as maximization of the margin
Provide regular updates of the selling forecast per product and customer allocated and contribute to the definition of the budget
Assist the Technical Services and Area Sales Manager in delivering technical support and settling quality claim
Participate to fairs, conferences and exhibition, support customer events organization

Ideal background/ experience
Engineer degree/ Sales degree
Ceramic industry, pigments or high temperature industries
Italian mother tongue. Fluent English , any additional European language (ideally French) is a plus
Location : Modena
Typical profile
Minimum 2 years experience in sales
Previous experience in Raw Materials for Glaze and Frits segments or Bodies for ceramic tiles is a plus
