Senior Sales ExecutiveJob Summary
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To sell Imerys mineral such as Talc, Kaolin, Diatomite, Moler, Bentonite, Perlite to Agriculture market for Crop protection, Anticaking, carrier for agrochemicals/pesticides, Seed coating, cofurmulant in crop protection, Insecticide,soil improver, growing media, soil conditioner.
To sell Imerys mineral such as Bentonite, Diatomite, Moller, Talc, Kaolin, to Animal Feed market for toxin binder, anticaking agent, binder, flowability agent, carrier, Gut health & Cat litter.
To sell Imerys different minerals in specialty and filtration markets.
Responsible for achieving and exceeding annual budget volume & revenue
Responsible for building key account plans, developing multilevel contacts and getting a good understanding of the local market.
Map and understand India market for Agriculture, Animal Welfare and Speciality segments.
Develop and grow sales volume, revenue and profitability in these applications in India
Contributes to increased profitability through price increases, improved product mix & implementation of improved service routes
Support Imerys distributors selling into these applications and help them to grow
Responsible for providing regular market information, market trend, new technology, competitor activities & implementing counter action plan accordingly.
Manage key accounts
To coordinate with the relevant Technical & Market Managers to ensure all business objectives are being achieved
Maintain active engagement with existing & potential customers through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest.
Tracking of business activities & reporting on weekly and monthly basis and presenting it to top management.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Experience requirements:
Bachelor degree with minimum 2-4 years of working experience in Agro-chemical, animal nutrition or related background.
Sales or marketing background of Agriculture or animal care market
Knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics:
Good connection with industry: Agriculture, Animal Feed, Specialities
Travel across India (approx. 30-40%)- visiting existing and potential customers
Excellent communication & negotiation skills, able to facilitate discussions and prepare presentations
Problem-solving & Analytical skills. Perseverant, results/actions oriented
The ability to work well under pressure.
Well-organised, able to handle multiple priorities and flexible
Strong creative mind-set, self-starter, team-player, strategic thinker
Ability to interpret financial data
Ability to lead and deal with senior managers across the organisation
