The Position
HR ManagerJob Summary
This role will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department and be responsible for deploying the group strategy and processes required for smooth operations.
He/She will be the main point of contact for all HR issues in China/Taiwan.
Location is in Shanghai. Position reports to ASIA HR Manager
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attract, engage, train, develop and retain talent.
Acting as a liaison between Managers, Employees and the Organization to reach business goals, especially to support the internal and external growth projects in China and Taiwan.
Operational HR support and accountable for HR administration, payroll & benefits admin in China and Taiwan
Build and renew an adequate talent pool & pipeline to drive business growth.
Ensure HR compliance, and supervise payroll & HR payments processes.
Manage HR costs and headcount (budget).
Responsible for the implementation of HR Systems at the Country level.
Partner with key stakeholders to ensure we have the right organization and people (recruitment on time and quality, onboarding). Manage recruitment processes for both white and blue collared employees.
Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expense reimbursement, welfare, vehicles and vacation
Responsible for ensuring data accuracy in HRIS systems (Workday & Enablon)
Maintain Group guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures
Ensure that HR management principles, processes and procedures are understood and implemented in all locations, entities and sites.
Responsible for maintaining harmonious employee relations.
Ensuring compliance with labor laws, Company’s Code of conduct and Management Authority Rules, taking into account local regulations
Ensuring a best-in-class HR service to internal customers.
Support the ASIA HR Manager by being a subject matter expert in the dedicated perimeter of activity and take part in HR projects
Manage and support all office administrative tasks ( eg: events planning)
Education and Experience requirements
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent
5-8 years of HR Operations experience
Strong handling and collaboration with key stakholders
Hands-on experience and familiarity with HR & HRIS systems, ( eg: Workday)
Experience and excellent ability in managing HR operations
Experience in a complex and dynamic, fast-paced multi-site work environment.
Good at multi-tasking & stakeholder management with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demand
Strong understanding of China and Taiwan local law and legislation
Networking with government authorities
