The Position

Customer Service & Logistic Manager H/F

Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Manage the functional strategies and daily operations of the supply chain in the site. 
Being accountable for the customer satisfaction, OTIF, stock management and safety results on its perimeter.
Provide data analysis to manage the business performance effectively and has responsibility for site and supply chain KPI reporting, and accountability for ERP’s Data quality
Drive continuous improvement through implementation of good methodologies, practices and tools, best in class Supply Chain management

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Management of Customer Service :

  • Accountable for customer satisfaction according to  Imerys guidelines (quality of service, quality of communication and support), and provide analysis and action plan 

  • Claims management : all claims received are registered in the CRM and treated in due time 

  • Issue relevant and defined reports followed by action plan required 

  • Liaise with the different function’s stakeholders (Operation, Sales, Demand Planner ) to ensure a good exchange of Supply Chain information and expertise.  

  • Provide Supply Chain expertise to Commercial people (incoterms, transport organisation, distribution solutions, customs rules etc.)

  • Ensure that all orders are registered on time in the ERP.

  • Ensure that prices & conditions are created/updated  into the ERP, based on the information received from the sales team

  • Manager of Logistics and Distribution for site, tollers and warehouse attached

 

  • Organise the execution of the orders

  • Chartering / Transport management for inbound and outbound flows

  • OTIF : Reported monthly with root cause analysis for the delays

  • Reporting on Backlog with analysis of cause (product availability / logistics)

  • Pilot internal flows and transfer orders 

  • Accountable for freight P&L

  • Contribute to the stock strategy and the right balance between Offer and production constraints.

  • Participate in local short/mid term production planning and scheduling to improve quality of service to customers.

  • Liaise with central Supply Chain teams in case of discrepancy between capacity and offer leading to allocation decision.

  • Manage the logistic network of his/her perimeter (execution, quality of service, invoicing... ) : carriers, warehousing, freight forwarders, port authorities, customs clearance

  • Contribute to the tender preparation / budget preparation

  • Manage local initiatives to optimise transport & storage (Quality of service, cost, safety stocks, reorder point).

Education and Experience requirements

  • Managerial experience

  • Customer centric and service orientation

  • Knowledge of sea/road transport regulation and Incoterms

  • Good knowledge on customs, import and export requirements

  • Analytical skills

  • Knowledge of SAP

  • Good / practical understanding of Supply Chain best practices

  • Advocate for data integrity

  • Good level of English

  • 5 Years of Experience in Logistics Management
