The Position

Lead buyer (IT/Telecom )

Job Summary

Key Task & Responsibilities:

Work under the guidance's of the IT/Telecom Global Category Manager
Work in close collaboration with IT function as primary internal stakeholder (mainly located in Europe)
End to end purchasing process management
Report purchasing performance (savings)
Supportive of purchasing digitalization (E-procurement)
Manage RFP’s corresponding to IT roadmap/business needs (ex : software; hardware; networks; cybersecurity…)
Negotiate prices and contract with suppliers (editors; resellers….)
Manage contracts renewals; renegotiation
Implement strategies defined at category level ( interlock with regions to track evidences)
Handle all administrative tasks related to category management (contract database update; suppliers reporting collection and consolidation; business reviews preparation..)
Support APAC purchasing team on spot projects (in various categories)

Profile :

Minimum 4 to 6 years’ experience in IT/Telecom purchasing (software; hardware; mobility…)
Knowledge of other indirect purchasing categories is a plus
English : Fluent
Strong analytical skills
Curious about other categories

EDUCATION

Graduation in Engineering or Technology.
