The Position

Digital Document Expert

Job Summary

This position is part of the Digital Innovation Team whose role is to provide digital tools allowing business to better automate, improve their quality and efficiency, to help business achieving their goal.

The Digital Document Expert is responsible for the proper operations and development of enterprise-wide Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). This includes development (data loads, integrations, workflows, etc.), testing, support, change management  and enhancements.


  • Work closely with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and other Imerys architects to comprehend and facilitate the business analysis and architecture design of EDMS solutions for a variety of business areas. 

  • Develop or configure EDMS features, such as user interfaces, access profiles, libraries, document types, metadata structures, document workflow procedures, forms, data migration etc. 

  • Work with enterprise-wide EDMS and related procedures, that allow Imerys to capture, store, retrieve, share, and destroy electronic records and documents.

  • In charge of the EDMS administration, configuration, user management, access control management & user support.

  • Work together with IT teams to troubleshoot issues and expedite solutions.

  • Identify, share and apply best practices with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Develop technical documentation and presentations

  • Transfer know-how to users.

  • Be responsible for system auditing, gap and non-conformance identification. 


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering

  • 3 to 5 years experiences around  in EDMS platforms, M-files as a plus

  • Fluent or native English speaker

  • Proven experience in project management

  • Proven experience Taxonomy and classification skills

  • Cloud hands-on proven experience 

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Capacity to analyze functional and technical needs.

  • Experience in application programming & interface.

  • MS C# development skills

  • Experience across all phases of project development from design to production
