The Position

Global IT Infrastructure Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

As the Global IT Infrastructure Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects worldwide. This role requires leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive and ensure successful project planning and delivery. Your primary focus will be on IT network, unified communications and security projects, managing complex international IT projects for network and security enhancement and innovation solutions, Mergers and Acquisitions ensuring seamless integration and/or divestiture, operational excellence and optimal performance, delivering value to the organization. 


  • Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT infrastructure project with a focus on:

    • Mergers & acquisitions

    • IT network & security projects projects

    • Global infrastructure innovation / improvement projects, such as new network monitoring and management solutions

    • Site assessments, installations, upgrades, relocation

    • Technical obsolescence and consolidations

    • Large Projects Scoping & Planning.

  • Define programs/projects objectives, scope, collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, success criteria in alignment with the business goals and project deliverables.

  • Responsible for the project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling and close stages.

  • Responsible for preparing the detailed scope of works, defining the technical design, architecture and specifications.

  • Develop the planning documentation such as work breakdown structure, project schedule, the required resources, and project budget.

  • Continuously monitor and control the project(s) progress, budget, project members engagement to ensure the on-time, on-budget delivery and the quality of projects outputs & deliverables.

  • Manage change control, assess risks & prepare mitigation actions with impact analysis for informed decision making..

  • Release, define UAT, acceptance criteria and coordinate the acceptance process and release.

  • Report project progress and status to project stakeholders and senior management as required.

  • Act as activity leader in other technical or business-driven projects / programs managing the Infrastructure scope of works. 

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to IT infrastructure and AWS.


  • Proven experience as Project Manager in the IT Infrastructure, network / telecom domain, minimum 5 years.

  • Proven track record of planning, managing & delivering worldwide large-scale and/or complex projects on time, within budget, meeting quality standards and objectives.

  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components, systems, security and architectures, including networking, servers, storage, and virtualization.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Fluent English speaker with professional-level written and verbal communication, presentation and technical writing skills.

  • Knowledge and experience with Waterfall, Agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies.

  • Project management certification, PMP preferably. Other certifications are highly desirable.

  • ITIL certification and familiarization with the IT Service Management framework.

  • Strong expertise in managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects, including cloud migration projects, preferably AWS is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of French would be advantageous.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
