The Position

Distribution Manager

Job Summary

Imerys, global leader providing mineral-based specialty solutions for industry, is hiring a Distribution Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our customer base, sales resources, products and channels for the paints, coatings, ACS, and ceramics/building products as well as Life Sciences & Filtration markets to achieve planned results.  

Location - Roswell / Hybrid


  • Managing distribution Sales Channels, working with existing key distribution partners to grow our portfolio with their customers with a strategic vision. 

  • Develop in conjunction with Sales and Marketing a defined Channel Marketing and Product Training plan.

  • Actively engage the local distribution network in N America

  • Support the marketing department on planning and execution of marketing activities across the distribution chain to target different clusters of customers 

  • Dealer management and relationship building

  • Provide an objective viewpoint based on an in-depth understanding of commercial and competitive information.

  • Execute and Manage Commercial Strategies (MSRP, Selected Distribution Criteria, partner set evolution in territory, channel compensation strategy)

  • Work closely with Segments and marketing to optimize/ rationalize Distribution/ agency network

Background & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales, Account Management or Business Development.

  • Experience with managing distribution networks in an manufacturing environment

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Travel approx. 30% 

  • Ability to positively influence others w/o direct reporting lines
