The Position

Accounts Executive

Job Summary

Supports Consolidation Accounting Reporting (CAR) Country Manager to ensure proper accounting, efficiency & effectiveness of the finance activities. 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Month End Closing

  •  Prepare journal entries to record all financial transaction into the appropriate accounts
  •  Review Trial Balance
  •  Preparation of Profit & Loss & Balance Sheet
  •  Adherence to monthly & quarterly reporting deadlines
  •  Ensure the accuracy & reliability in financial/management reports & compliance with accounting policies, procedures & controls

2. Reporting & Analysis

  • PL analysis
  • Freight & sales analysis
  • FOREX exposure report

3. Treasury

  • Ensure payment is being processed on time
  • Ensure no payment is bounded due to a new vendor not maintained in Banklink.
  • Ensure sufficient fund for payment
  • Daily Bank reconciliation

4. Employee Claim

  • Ensure all claims are processed on timely basis based on Imerys policy

5. Budget & Forecast

  • Support BA Controlling team with information and reports requested by deadlines

6. Raise Purpose Order

  • Raise PR for KL finance & KL office

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education: 

  • A Diploma or Degree in accountancy  is desirable

Typical Profile:

  • General Ledger Accountant

Experience: 

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably with GL experience

Languages:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, conversing in other local language

Others:

  • Five (5) months fixed term contract
