Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

Imerys Internal Efficiency team is a newly created team that will drive process improvement throughout the organization thanks to the management of transversal projects to boost the performance of the company’s key business processes.

In close collaboration with functions and BA teams already working on business processes improvement, the Internal Efficiency team will be accountable to prioritise all initiatives, manage transversal projects, instil a structured and standardized continuous improvement framework (I3 mindset) with focus on value identification and realization. 

Thanks to an enhanced governance, the Internal Efficiency function will collaborate with all BA and functions to ensure that every department is heard and included in the efficiency journey.

The main missions of the Supply Chain & Logistics Project Manager are :

  • to lead the implementation of cross-BAs & functions projects that aim to improve the overall efficiency of the Supply Chain & Logistics (both Qualitative & Quantitative savings)

  • to design and implement the processes that will be used to support the project implementation and guarantee the skills ramp-up of the stakeholders

  • to ensure an active watch on the latest state of art for Logistics & Supply Chain and identify levers that could bring efficiency to the overall group

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project management 

  • Leads cross BAs & functions Supply Chain & Logistics projects to improve overall efficiency (both qualitative and quantitative) 

  • As the referent in Supply Chain & Logistics, the role is the point of contact & relay for Group projects in this domain.

  • Ensure projects and initiatives progress, including consistent and effective communication. This includes managing escalation and avoiding risk

  • Partner with the Internal Efficiency PMO and Internal Efficiency IT Partner to ensure a healthy and well-managed initiative execution

Robustness of the process & skills development

  • Thanks to a collaborative work with the stakeholders, formalise the ways of working to support the right project implementation to deliver the savings (qualitative & quantitative)

  • In the frame of the project implementation, ensure skills development & knowledge sharing across the Business Areas & functions

Watch and benchmarking

  • Ensure that the good practices are well shared across BAs & functions

  • Stay up-to-date with available tools and techniques in Supply Chain & Logistics field

ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Project management on time and with budget respect

  • Efficient take over of the Business areas or Functions that means efficiency levers are at full speed

SKILLS AND PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree  in Supply Chain/Engineering/Business administration (with logistics / supply chain speciality)

  • 7+  years experienced in project management (Supply Chain, Logistics)

  • Project management skills

  • Very good knowledge of the supply chain and logistics field

  • Good knowledge of SAP and other IT tool in the Supply Chain environment 

  • Problem solver & facilitator

  • Very good communication skills with ability to address a topic at different hierarchical levels

  • Autonomous, comfortable with remote management 

  • Capacity to drive change and facilitate change management. Appetence for Continuous Improvement

  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills

  • Ability to use common IT tools (Excel, G Suite). At ease with data management 

  • Mandatory  use of English Team player, ability to work in multi-cultural and geographical environment

Travel: 2 to 3  times per quarter

LOCATION: Preferably in France. Alternative options are considered within EMEA. Locations outside EMEA can be discussed depending on time zones
