The Position

Job Summary

Job Title: Production Planning & Warehouse Manager

Location: Sandersville, GA

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Maintain inventory levels in order to keep plants operating at optimal levels with the least amount of downtime.
Maintain material availability for all operations on-time as well as cost effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct and oversee daily activities of warehouse personnel.
Maintain & consolidate report of monthly inventory for each Operating location.
Ensure Cycle Counts are completed each month.
Report monthly Additions to Inventory.
Provide products with the best quality, which is most cost effective that meets or exceeds our internal requirements.
Maintain financial Inventory Control Data.
Ensure off site warehouse maintains the proper housekeeping in accordance with Imerys policies and procedures.
Coordinates the movement of stagnant inventory with the Commercial team.
Completes monthly reviews of Inventory.
Ensures proper level of Hydrous clay is maintained to allow Warehouse D to operate at optimum levels.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 3 years experience in Production Warehousing & Inventory Control Management OR at least 5 years experience in Production Warehousing & Inventory Control Management
Computer applications – Finance system, E-mail, Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel
Strong problem solving skills
