The Position

Maintenance Engineer with SAP

Purpose

Ensure processes in the maintenance department are implemented in accordance with the new standards after the implementation of SAP within our sites in Rubi (Barcelona) and El Ejido (Almería).

Responsibilities

Health & Safety at all time, by encouraging safe behaviors, safe culture & leadership
Be involved and take ownership in industrial engineering processes in the plant and take ownership of specific projects.
Creation of Work Orders, assignment of planned maintenance and spare parts hours.
Confirmation of time worked, validation and closure of work orders.
Request a quote from suppliers for maintenance purchases.
Make purchase requests for spare parts and general maintenance purchases.
Reception and review of maintenance orders.
Inventory management.
Support the Maintenance Manager in the planification of activities as well as during the shutdown periods.
Liaise with the Purchasing Manager in all aspects related to spare parts needs and inventory.

Job Specifications:

Engineering degree
Appetite for developing a career within the sector. Ideally within maintenance or production
Advances level of English (daily interactions)
2+ years of engineering experience in a production site
Previous experience with SAP is required
Safety first mindset
Strong organizational and analytical skills
