The Position
Sales SpecialistJob Summary
Imerys, global leader providing mineral-based specialty solutions for industry, is hiring a Sales Specialist in our Filtration business. This is an entry-level or early career role which will support our customer base and work closely with senior members of the commercial team in areas including sales planning and forecasting, pricing, and industry analysis. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in commercial roles to gain experience and exposure within a multinational corporation.
Location: Roswell (hybrid)
You will:
• Play a role in growing this business by developing and implementing sales strategies, and identifying new opportunities
• Execute a variety of tasks to provide top-quality support to our customers
• Join and collaborate with your colleagues, cross-functionally, to support the sales process
Responsibilities:
Generates revenue by assisting Sales Director and Sales Managers, understanding and interpreting customer requirements, and providing inside sales support to key accounts.
Actively engage the local distribution network in North America
Support the marketing department on planning and execution of marketing activities across sales and distribution chain to target different clusters of customers
Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
Drive price notice process and support administrative function for sales with key accounts.
Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Works closely with S&OP, Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Service to understand capacities, supply capability, and pricing guidance.
Monthly Sales Reporting on Back-log, opportunity report, and monthly tracking of growth programs
Provide forecast guidance for accounts on a monthly basis.
Ensure competitiveness by evaluating pricing and communicating increases with sales managers as needed.
Manage Imerys internal portals, including Salesforce (samples, opportunities, and complaints), pricing, and document management.
Supports Sales Managers and Sales Director on pricing & product inquiries
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, ideally in business or a technical field
Relevant experience working with customers and/or in a corporation (Internship, etc)
Self-Motivated
Manipulate and analyze data using Excel/Google Sheets
Attention to detail
Works in a fast paced environment
Basic customer relationship skills and excellent interpersonal communication
