Position

Imerys Performance Minerals is looking for a Plant Controller  to join the Finance Department.

Specialised in uses minerals, our experts design innovative industrial solutions for a wide variety of markets such as polymers, paint, building materials, paper, rubber, cosmetics, agriculture or the food industry.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for:

  • Managing financial information, with the primary aim to report to the Imerys Group and to support local management, in order to achieve the budgeted business performance.
  • Accomplishing both general rules and procedures issued by Imerys Group and local legal and fiscal regulations as well.
  • At Group level, cooperating mainly with Finance Department (Europe), while at local level working in close contact with managing director, chief accountant and technical managers.
     

As Plant Controller you will provide to Management the tools to drive effectively the performance of the scope and give visibility to the various stakeholders on the results, on the performance and on the associated risks/ uncertainties of the site you are in charge of.

 

Job description

As Plant Controller  in Imerys you will be responsible of the following topics:

  • Developing the budget and forecast process – quarterly forecast and yearly budget
  • Organizing, challenging and supervising the production and the analysis of financial information within defined timeframes.
  • Assisting the entity in delivering the information
  • Effectively coordinating and communicating with all other Finance functions and other departments
  • Consolidating financial data of all sites belonging to the Site – ensuring the consistency of the information and making sure that Imerys accounting and financial processes are applied, thus ensuring that internal control procedures are in place and efficient
  • Driving financial performance through insightful and proactive analysis
  • Present operating results for past periods and periods to come to site managing time
  • Proposing and implementing actions and process improvements in given perimeter to secure efficiency and good coordination with entities
  • Following up of industrial capital expenditure

Profile

Graduated from a Master in Finance , you have at least 10 years’ experience and knowledge in:

  • Controlling ideally as plant controller
  • Industry
  • Accounting and consolidation principles/standards
  • Excel and Powerpoint

You are recognized for your strong analytical and problem solving skills. You are able to quickly build an effective and trust-based relationship with all entities and stakeholders. You are used to manage deadlines maintaining excellent attention to the quality.

Excellent command of Italian and English is required.

The position is based in Porte nearby Torino.
