The Position

Marketing Manager - Filtration & Life Science

Job Summary

Based at our corporate office in Roswell, GA, the Marketing Manager for the Filtration and Life Sciences business areas will be in charge of managing both the day-to-day and the long term marketing approach of the Business Area, in coordination with the innovation teams and the sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the monitoring of Imerys sold goods in their life-cycle, from development to decline/upgrade
  • Maintain a pulse on industry events to determine where Imerys should be in the market to create awareness and drive demand for disparate product lines
  • In accordance with Marcom execute both online and offline programs such as industry conferences, large and small scale hosted events, workshops, webinars and more
  • Develop a deep understanding of Imerys’ product positioning, core advantage and unique offering in order to best represent the company to different kinds of external audiences
  • Work closely with the innovation teams to ensure the right continuity of the Imerys products and their visibility in the market
  • Responsible for producing marketing content for both communication purpose and technical purpose, in coordination with Technical Support teams, Sales team and Marcom
  • Develops the critical knowledge on the drivers making how Imerys products are perceived, growing and performing in the targeted markets
  • Follow the customer and markets behaviors to Imerys products as well as competitors reactions
  • Direct and develop strategies to enhance and grow the sales performance, via business intelligence. This will include close coordination with each of the regional / segment teams
  • Create and manage the marketing strategies and resulting initiatives in the Segment market
  • Collaborate with and advise sales and marketing teams to build and execute holistic go to market and CRM plans
  • Leads high performance team through appropriate management rituals and attracts, develops and retains team members in his/ her perimeter
  • Responsible for embodying One Imerys Approach, specifically collaboration with other BAs for common customers and markets
  • Drives transformation and implements new organization and ways of working for his/her perimeter

Background/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Marketing (manufacturing industry a plus)
  • Outstanding business sense and intuition 
  • Ability to positively influence others w/o direct reporting lines
  • Strong Technical/Business acumen
