IT Industrial Applications Business Analyst

Job Summary

CONTEXT

Early 2018, Imerys has launched an ambitious internal transformation program to foster efficiency within the group: MAKE IT #1. MAKE IT#1 Group wide digital transformation is reshaping Imerys Digital landscape, encompassing 5 pillars: a set of common language and processes, a global ERP Core Model S4/Hana based, a common collaboration platform (GNOC, GSOC, unified WAN) and a common unified IT organization.

MAKE IT #1 aims at implementing common IT Tools for our business units / divisions. In order to enable seamless development and roll out of these new tools, Imerys IT involved  from IT division centric organization to a regional IT platform (EMEA,APAC,US).

This position is part of EMEA IT RCC organization in Application team, reporting to the the Skill Center Manager..

EMEA IT RCC (Regional Competency Center) implements and enforces standards and policies as defined by the Group. EMEA IT RCC designs, deploys and supports regional and Business areas specific solutions and applications.

The Industrial IT applications Business analyst covers any IT new applications projects, change requests and support on existing applications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Within the EMEA IT Regional Competency Center, you will be responsible for:

• Rolling out projects designed by the group
• Interacting with MAKE IT#1 Opera roll out team to ensure realistic and coherent Manufacturing - Production applications integration with the SAP S4/Hana core model
• Ensuring support for existing group EMEA MES-SCADA solutions (WinCC, Aspentech, Galileo,…)
• Ensuring support for existing EMEA solutions Production satellite applications (Weighbridges, LIMS…)
• Escalating in case of conflicts regarding several activities inside the projects
• Taking responsibility for support level 2 and 3 management
• Interacting with Infrastructure teams to ensure the performance of the application portfolio
• Participating into Application DRP for the application portfolio you will be in charge of, in conjunction with the respective business stakeholders and IT Infrastructure teams
• Creating Exploitation manual documentation for EMEA industrial applications portfolio

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
• 5 years of professional hands-on experience with application management
• Strong experience in Project Management in IT. You are recognize for your ability to collaborate and convince the stakeholders.
• Extensive experience implementing, migrating, managing, operating systems/applications and local industrial interfaces (weighbridge, barcode, RF gun, etc)
• Strong knowledge about applicative solutions
• Strong business knowledge in Industrial environment
• Good knowledge and understanding of application architecture
• Fluent or native English speaker
