Early 2018, Imerys has launched an ambitious internal transformation program to foster efficiency within the group: MAKE IT #1. MAKE IT#1 Group wide digital transformation is reshaping Imerys Digital landscape, encompassing 5 pillars: a set of common language and processes, a global ERP Core Model based, a common collaboration platform (GNOC, GSOC, unified WAN) and a common unified IT organization.
MAKE IT #1 aims at implementing common IT Tools for our business units / divisions. In order to enable seamless development and roll out of these new tools, Imerys IT is also evolving from IT division centric organization to a more integrated IT with strong regional IT platform.
NA IT RCC (Regional Competency Center) implements and enforces standards and policies as defined by the Group. NA IT RCC designs, deploys and supports regional and division specific solutions and applications.
This position is part of North America Regional Competency Center.
The Regional Security Coordinator (RSC) is the main advisor for NA BRMs, IT Project managers and Business representatives about all security related needs (e.g.: network, application, data, systems security matters...), the RSC guarantees the application of group security policies within the Region.
The RSC is responsible for the implementation, and oversight of group strategies and programs designed to reduce and mitigate information security risk across Regional IT to a level tolerable to the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
IT Security Improvement Plan Management for the Region
Participate in establishing technical guidelines, policies, standards and controls to protect business assets based on the threat landscape and risks inherent to the business.
Deploy security technical solutions within the Region
Follow-up and report on the Information Security and Privacy programs’ performance and maturity level within the Region
Ensure infrastructure risk monitoring and harmonization including local specificities and outsourced infrastructure services
Synchronises with BRM for Divisions security related projects and demands
IT Security for other regional Projects
Support Regional project managers for all security related parts of their projects, in coordination with global team resources embedding security design in the early phases of the projects
Communication
Advocates within the Region (IT, Divisions and end-users) the enforcement of security policies
Actively publish on one Imerys/ Security Community to foster team security compliance and awareness within the Region
Oversees the dissemination of security policies and practices; identify knowledge gaps to increase district awareness of relevant informatioNetn security practices
Train and foster a security mindset among Regional IT departments, and participate in drawing action plans in case of potential deviation
Coordinate, train and monitor end user security training to ensure best practices are followed.
L2 Support for Security tickets
Actively participates in ticket resolution (L2) and interface with L3 support at Group level.
Manages escalation coming from the Region for security related tickets
Follow-up of Regional tickets (incident and problems) activity and propose an action plan to bring their resolution to L1 through a formalized support procedure.
Participate and support security crisis activities (investigation, quick reaction task force participation, remediation, preventive actions)
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering (preferred)
5 years of practical experience in information security management and technical compliance in large heterogeneous enterprise level IT organization
Proficient in MicroSoft Active Directory Services
Firewall implementation experience
Fluent or native English speaker
Experience managing multiple, simultaneous and high-profile information security initiatives and responses.
Experience in developing information security programs, policies and procedures, including successful implementations in large enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of common information security management frameworks
Experience of working within a culturally diverse global company
Conversant in French or Spanish language would be advantageous.
